Summary Ty Mawr Lime was established in 1995 originally as a manufacturer and supplier of traditional lime-based building materials for the restoration of old buildings. The business has gradually expanded and now offers one of the largest ranges of specialist ecological building products in the country including plant and mineral paints, Welsh wool insulation, building boards, limecrete floors and plasters and mortars made from recycled glass.

Ty-Mawr is one of the foremost training providers of conservation courses in the UK with over 13 years of training experience in lime and ecological building related courses as well as running tailor-made courses for organisations like local authorities, the National Trust, Her Majesties Prisons and British Waterways. The courses are run at the newly restored training centre in the heart of the Brecon Beacons National Park, an inspiring venue in itself that now attracts visitors and specialist delegations from all over the UK as well as Europe. Our CPDs are RIBA-accredited, again demonstrating our commitment to providing the very best quality information to our clients.
