Emergency Exit Arts
Summary Founded in 1980, Emergency Exit Arts is an artist-centred organisation with a creative pool of performers, musicians, designers, visual artists, pyrotechnists, puppeteers, makers, composers and inventors. Emergency Exit Arts runs a large and varied programme and has become one of the UK's leading street arts companies producing unique celebratory events and community based projects. The company also manages the Bollywood Brass Band and the Crocodile Style street band. In 1991 Emergency Exit Arts was incorporated as a limited company and registered as a charity.

Mission Statement
Emergency Exit Arts is a celebratory arts company which devises and produces performances and community-based arts projects on both an intimate and a grand scale. EEA uses resourcefulness and wit to bring enjoyment and inspiration to audiences and participants through the performing, visual and musical arts.

Since 1987 Emergency Exit Arts has been based at Rothbury Hall in Azof Street, Greenwich. The premises consist of office spaces, a small meeting room, workshop space and a yard. EEA also rents industrial storage facilities to store equipment for its activities.
