WWF UK - Conservation, climate change, sustainability
Summary WWF is the world's largest conservation organisation with 52 offices working in more than 90 countries.
We are best known for our work to protect rare and endangered species but this is just one important piece in a complex conservation jigsaw.

We also work to:

* conserve precious forests - the lungs and pharmacy of the world, which contain as much as two thirds of all plant and animal species;
* protect rivers and wetlands, which provide the freshwater on which life depends;
* safeguard the seas and coasts, which are home to an amazing variety of life and contain important fishing grounds and renewable energy resources.
