Summary Planet Positive is an international mark of environmental accreditation which signifies a better way of living. Open to businesses, buildings, products and people, Planet Positive Accreditation certifies a measurable commitment to the planet. We are based in the UK and North America and we have over 140 businesses Planet Positive certified. We are working with Deloitte, Marks & Spencer, Land Securities, Lend Lease, ProLogis in the built environment along with other brands such as Atomic skis through to Efergy energy display monitors.

Designed to be public facing, engaging and accessible to both businesses and the public, Planet Positive Accreditation seeks to reward businesses for their positive steps towards greater sustainability. Backed by a protocol continuously assessed through a panel of independent academic experts, Planet Positive combines best practise from a number of international methodologies including WRI GHG, WBSCD, PAS 2050 and ISO 14044.

As part of their accreditation, all Planet Positive Accredited Businesses are required to go through a 4-step process which combines greater sustainability with a coordinated focus on the wider community.

Planet Positive does not believe that blaming corporations for climate change will foster the motivation required to create the low carbon economy. We therefore aim to reward companies for achieving sustainable business operations through active marketing and communications campaigns.

In addition to the creation of a carbon action plan, Planet Positive seeks to go beyond being a passive mark by providing the option for staff engagement programmes, office tips, driver training or fleet management services.
