Summary Freegle UK is an online not for profit organisation which has only one aim and goal to 'Stop good stuff going to landfill' Freegle has over 1 million members and almost 300 branches and counting, giving and getting stuff completely free of charge, it's a bit like ebay without the money! Freegle members can post asking for or offering just about anything so long as it's free and legal. Freegle also allows groups,charities,schools and colleges to post for resouces free of charge. If there isn't one then feel free to make contact and Freegle will help you to start a local branch and support you till your confident to do it alone. Freegle UK started life in September last year and has already won it's first online green award and is being considered for the Observer News Papers Green Award. Freegle UK also has a stand at this years UK Aware Eco-Exhibition at Londons Olympia 2 at Earls Court on the 16th and 17th of April. UK Aware is the only UK Green lifestyles exhibition.
